Uzbek neftegaz responded to the Ministry of Investment of Uzbekistan


The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan rejected the proposal of JSC Uzbek neftegas to increase the excise tax on imports of petroleum products, the publication of the Podrobno.uz reports on May 29. The Board of Tariff and Oil and Gas Regulation explained that the proposal is not in line with the accepted international obligations and practice. The Council recalled that Uzbekistan is a party to a multilateral treaty on a free trade zone within the CIS. Within the framework of the document, excise tax rates on goods of domestic and imported producers are harmonized. Recall, on May 25, the mass media of Uzbekistan reported that the company Uzbek neftegas sent to the Ministry of Energy a proposal to increase the excise tax on fuel imports.
