In Venezuela, told who was preparing a plan for the invasion of the country
The maritime invasion of Venezuela, which was stopped by the country's authorities in early May, was being prepared by opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez, who is currently hiding from justice at the Spanish Embassy in Caracas. This was announced on June 27 by Venezuelan Minister of Communications and Communications Jorge Rodriguez during a speech at the residence of the country's government. In addition, Rodriguez said that the plan for the May invasion of Venezuela was directly developed at the residence of the Spanish ambassador in Caracas, so the Spanish ambassador should be fully aware of Lopez's intentions to destabilize power in the country. He also asked the Government of Spain whether it knew that López continued to hold videoconferences for the sole purpose of implementing his plans to assassinate President Nicolas Maduro. This seems normal to the ambassador of Spain, "Rodriguez concluded. The head of the department also addressed the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy with a question whether he agrees that criminal actions against Venezuela are planned in the diplomatic mission of the EU member state. According to the news agency, on May 3, Venezuelan Interior Minister Nestor Reverol announced that the authorities had prevented a naval invasion of militants from Colombia in the north of the country. Later, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said that the purpose of the invasion was to kill him, in addition, among the detained participants in the attack were two US citizens who, according to Venezuelan law enforcement agencies, were employees of the personal guard of the US president. The United States and Colombia, in turn, denied the allegations of the Venezuelan side in an attempt to seize power.
