More than 20 doctors infected with coronavirus in Ternopil region of Ukraine

In the Monastery district of Ternopil region as of 9:00 (10:00 Moscow time) coronavirus was identified in 36 people, 21 of whom were medical workers. This was announced on March 28 by the Deputy Chairman of the Monastery District State Administration Pavel Dron on the page on the social network Facebook. 19 infected were found in the city of Monastery, seven in the village of Schweikov, four in the village of Kovalevka (one person died), two in the village of Gorishnya Slobodka, two in the village of Dolishnaya Slobodka, on one occasion in the villages of Bertnik and Chekov. Seven doctors, eight nurses, six younger nurses, two public servants, one priest, one kindergarten manager, and one child were among the sick. All available resources of the district have been mobilized to provide the necessary district hospital. The first problem is now a shortage of tests, Dron said. The official also expressed gratitude to volunteers for providing everything necessary in the fight against coronavirus infection.
