Quiet supersonic plane to be tested in US in 2021

The test flight of the silent supersonic passenger plane X-59, developed by the American company Lockheed Martin, is planned to take place in 2021, the Space.com reports. The assembly of the sample should be completed before the end of this year. In the production of an aircraft, technology is used to reduce the noise of supersonic aircraft. According to the news agency, in 2018 NASA and Lockheed Martin Aeronautics signed an agreement worth $247.5 million to create a supersonic passenger aircraft.
