Russian Embassy commented on State Department report on misinformation

After releasing a report on the ecosystem of Russian misinformation and propaganda, the US State Department attempted to drown out Russia's proposals to resume cooperation in key areas, the Russian embassy in Washington reported on August 5 on its Facebook page. The mentioned report is an attempt to drown out official Russian proposals to resume cooperation in key areas on which the security of the whole world depends, the statement said. The diplomatic department added that the State Department is concerned about the existence of alternative sources of information, and therefore any voice disagreeing with Washington's official position declares misinformation. Earlier, the news agency reported that in a published report, the State Department called propaganda and misinformation from Russia the main threat to the United States and its allies in the information sphere.

WHO: hand washing is more useful than using rubber gloves
