Diplomat from France opposed the cancellation of the Iranian nuclear deal

Iran will be able to create nuclear weapons if the Iranian nuclear deal is destroyed. This opinion was expressed by the Permanent Representative of France to the UN Nicolas de la Riviere in a message on his Twitter page. The diplomat noted that he participated in the negotiations on the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in 2014 2015 and this agreement was more successful than expected. According to the news agency, on August 6, the former French ambassador to the United States, Gerard Araud, said that Tehran's decline in his commitment to the JCPOA was provoked by the fact that the American side violated the deal.
