You're crazy: how the red army caught Himmler
21 may 1945 Soviet soldiers Vasily Gubarev and Ivan Sidorov arrested one of the Nazi leaders Heinrich Himmler, who tried to escape after Germany's surrender. The British showed no interest in German and even wanted to release him, but the vigilance of the red army did not allow the Reichsfuhrer-SS re-run.
