Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo: we will remove both duty and President

On March 11, the Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo, Viosa Osmani, in a speech delivered at an extraordinary session of the Parliament devoted to relations between the United States and Kosovo, supported the words of Prime Minister Albin Kurti on the need to remove the post of President Hashim Tachi. According to Albanian news agency Telegrafi, Osmani made her speech after President Tachi published on his Facebook page a full personal insult statement to Kurti. The Speaker of the Parliament of Kosovo stated that such behaviour was contrary to the purpose of the existence of the presidential institution intended to serve as a symbol of national unity. Osmani also accused Tachi of usurping the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, and therefore the government has no confidence in him. The duty (100% on goods from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina news agency) should be abolished at the same time as President Tachi is removed from his usurped role. Since at the moment of duty removal it will be possible to conclude a dangerous agreement. We must remove both together in a similar way, as it will serve to protect the interests of the country and relations with our friends, Osmani said. Recall, the initiator of the convening of the emergency session of the Parliament was the Democratic Party of Kosovo founded by Tachi. At present, the parties of the ruling coalition Movement for Self-Determination and the Democratic League of Kosovo claim that the imposition of a duty of 100% by the Government of Ramush Haradinaj was justified, as it ended the dialogue between the Presidents of Kosovo and Serbia, Hashim Tachi and Alexander Vucic, during which the possibility of unacceptable territorial exchange was discussed.
